Would a car lift help - especially if you want to look under a prospective new car?

On the 4th January 2010 after more than two months preparation the North-West's first DIY vehicle workshop opened for business, ideal for customers who want to service/repair/maintain or even just check their own cars.

We have four bays, two with car lifts, for rental by the hour priced from £10.00 per hour (+VAT) for the bays with lifts and £7.00 per hour (+VAT) for the bays without lifts, prices are discounted over extended rental periods, please click here to see our prices

Included in the rental is an oilpan for draining oil and rechargeable LED handlamp, use of the trolley jack, axle stands and drive-up ramps for the bays without lifts.

Customers are welcome to bring their own tools or can rent a standard tool set for a nominal cost plus returnable deposit, tools include a professional socket set, screwdrivers, spanners, pliers, molegrips, side cutters and hammer.

Toolset rental customers also get access to a set of shared tools including a ten-tonne floor mounted hydraulic press, compressor, breaker bars and oil filter keys.
